What is sintered felt? What are their functions?
The sintered felt is made of selected spherical metal powder by special sintering process. It has good filtration performance, high filtration precision, and certain strength and toughness. Compared with the filter made of paper, copper wire mesh and other fiber cloth, its performance is superior, and it is convenient to assemble, disassemble and clean.
The filter materials are mainly stainless steel powder, bronze powder, nickel powder, titanium powder and superalloy powder. Other filter materials can be customized according to customer requirements. It is characterized by strong chemical stability, acid and alkali resistance, and can be used in a large range of pH value. It has high mechanical strength and high filtration precision. It has stable filtration performance, easy regeneration, strong life and does not interact with microorganisms for the filtration particle size of 0.1 to 100um.
The sintered felt is resistant to high temperature and can be used normally below 900 ℃. There is no micro material falling off and no secondary pollution to the medium. It is mainly used to filter gas, liquid and fuel oil. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical, automobile, tractor, aircraft and shipbuilding industries, and also widely used in the filter elements of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits.
The sintered felt is made of micron sized metal fibers by non-woven laying, lamination and high-temperature sintering. The multi-layer metal fiber felt has pore gradients formed by different pore size layers, which can control to obtain high filtration accuracy and larger contaminant capacity than single-layer felt. It has the characteristics of three-dimensional network, porous structure, high porosity, large surface area, pore size and uniform distribution. Therefore, the stainless steel sintered felt overcomes the defects of metal mesh, which are easy to block and vulnerable. As a result, stainless steel sintered felt has excellent filtration performance and is an ideal filtration material with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and high precision.
