Reverse water cleaning method (also known as backwashing) is to backwash inert gas (such as nitrogen) to the opposite direction of normal filtration. Stainless steel sintered felt is particularly suitable for backwashing due to its relatively smooth and easy to clean. In addition, it is not necessary to remove it from the filter unit during the backwash process, and it can be cleaned directly in the filter unit. In order to clean the stainless steel felt, ultrasonic cleaning is needed. Compared with backwashing, ultrasonic cleaning has a great impact on production efficiency, but ultrasonic cleaning is thorough, which can ensure the cleaning of filter unit.

There are three cleaning methods for stainless steel sintered felt: chemical cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning and heat treatment cleaning.

First of all, chemical cleaning is a common cleaning method of acid-base cleaning solution, which can be used to clean and collect stainless steel sintered felt.

Then there is the ultrasonic cleaning method. Ultrasound is an energy wave that can be continuously pressurized and expanded. When it is applied to the liquid, cavitation is formed, and continuously ruptured cavities clean the sintered felt. This is the same as the principle of ultrasonic cleaning the sintering net.

After the heat treatment cleaning method is applied to the stainless steel sintered felt, the hair is usually cleaned when the chemical cleaning method is ineffective. Common heat treatment cleaning methods include vacuum pyrolysis, heating furnace, liquefying bed and hot salt bath.
